But then I realized it was too small a space to accommodate my wishlist. No, they are not so grand per se. Its just that, if fulfilled, they would render this whole world ideal, which in theory wouldn't exist. Or could I still tweak them a little to make them fit for this non-ideal world.
i) What if everyone around the world obey the traffic rules on their own. As if they would obey them not for the fear of obeying them, but because they just couldn't disobey them! That again, would be too ideal, non-existent. Tweaked version: What if 80% of the people just couldn't disobey the rules 90% of the time they are on roads. A little realistic I guess. Or just too complex or may be even weird!? Well, there is no one else to blame for such a wish but the "aquarian" mind behind this.
ii) What if there are too many things you want to do but one life time just doesn't seem to be enough. Could you just ask for another life, may be a continued one to finish off what you couldn't do in your first. Is that what re-incarnation is all about? Well, is there a phenomenon like re-incarnation in the first place?
iii) What if people around the world remained happy (and content and satisfied) for just one day, the same day. Would they continue being the same the next morning when they wake up? Wouldn't that happiness take away their pain which they want to feel? Reminds me of an episode from Ally McBeal (that has become Mansi's fav show these days and I automatically get pulled to watch it :), though I have developed a liking for the characters in the show as well), where a brain problem render a man "happy forever".So happy that his own son sues him for "being happy", for he was no longer the same profit obsessed businessman. He would now think of the labour first and would end up distributing the profit amongst them. Simply because he was "happy". He would always wear a smile now, even though he was at loggerheads with his own son to protect his happiness.
He would refuse to get treated, only until he lost his lovely wife, with whom he was in love more than ever before now. He just couldn't grieve for his dead wife, he couldn't cry for her when I wanted it so bad, again because of his happiness. Thats when he chose to let go his happiness...
